The 14th<\/sup>Edition India\u00a0<\/strong>Art Fair titled <\/em>THE HERO SHE IS<\/p>\n

New Delhi (India), February 8:<\/strong>\u00a0Arushi Arts is a leading international auction house conducting live and\u00a0online auctions of modern and contemporary Indian fine\u00a0art<\/em>. They will be celebrating living traditions and women artists at the 14th edition of the India Art Fair titled \u2018THE HERO SHE IS\u2019 at booth E-17 from 9th till 12th February 2023 at NSIC Exhibition grounds in Delhi.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old endeavor, aiming to promote the best\u00a0of contemporary art from India around\u00a0the world will exhibit the works of three\u00a0important artists Jangarh Singh\u00a0Shyam, Baua Devi and Bhuri Bai.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Payal Kapoor, Director of Arushi Arts said \u201cJangarh Singh Shyam is regarded as the father of Gond art and is a well-known hero. This show juxtaposes these 2 important women artists as heroes in the male-dominated art world. The two Women artists have shown their works at important museums around the world and are Padma Shri Awardees. This show is a celebration of women artists who are equally important heroes and is also a tribute to J.Swaminathan who encouraged living traditions and played a vital role.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Arushi Arts also gives a yearly prize since 2014, dedicated to the Late Mr. DK Jain which is the DK Jain Art Prizeto to encourage and support the living traditions of our country.<\/p>\n

The art show is being held at India Art Fair, Booth E \u2013 17 from 9th- 12th February 2023 at NSIC Exhibition grounds.<\/em><\/p>\n
