December 02: <\/strong>Hema Vinod an Author of two books, is currently in India after a three-decade career as Educationist in various countries. She has used her experience and expertise in her books, \u2018Parenteening Made Simple\u2019 (for parents) and her current book, \u2018Girl, Empower Yourself!\u2019 Both books have unique content and have her target group, Teenagers in mind. Ms. Hema Vinod\u2019s professional journey through the decades has had a keen focus on children and women. She worked as an educator in various schools in India, DRC and Congo. She then moved to humanitarian work with UNICEF and UNHCR which took her to various conflict affected countries over a span of seventeen years, such as Uganda, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Somalia and Iraq.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her journey has been a most interesting and challenging one taking her to some of the most troubled conflict affected spots in the world. The rich experiences and expertise gained from her work and interactions with children and women has inspired her to write the book which will be a guide and mentor for girls around the world.\u00a0
She returned to India in 2020, did her training to be a Coach from IPEC, USA which is \u00a0topmost in the Coaching arena and also wrote her first book for parents, Parenteening Made Simple. This book went on to become a best-seller on Amazon.
In 2022, she worked on her second book for girls and young women which is called, \u2018Girl Empower Yourself!\u2019<\/p>\n

She wrote this book to empower girls using her vast experience working with girls in the field of education. She felt girls lacked role models and mentors in their growing up years. Here is a brief write up about her two books.<\/p>\n

Girl Empower Yourself<\/strong><\/p>\n

Girls while growing into young women often face a lot of challenges in their life. They need a lot of support and help in their journey.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having worked with adolescents for over three decades and having been a mother of teens,\u00a0Hema Vinod<\/a>\u00a0has put together a transformational book for girls using the 7 steps that aim at making girls and young women ask the right questions. These 7 steps help girls and young women to take the appropriate actions to bring change and improvement in their lives. The seven questions are:

\u00b7 How can I be effective?
\u00b7 How can I reach my aim in life?
