October 28: <\/strong>This Pre Diwali celebration has been a historic event as for the First time a Special Song dedicated to India\u2019s Freedom 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav was released by the Chief Guest Mr\u00a0Sanjay Sharma, Deputy Director & First Secretary, The Nehru Centre, High Commission of India in London, UK with Mr PD Virk Founder & President of VOCS Events & Promotions Pvt Ltd & Red Tunes Entertainment Ltd. This Event is sponsored by Kaurzcrown Pvt Ltd & Ruling Khadi Pvt Ltd \u00a0and associate sponsor was Quilton Khadi Pvt Ltd.<\/p>\n

This event has been special that as \u201cINDIAN KHADI PROMOTERS AND CULTURAL ARTIST GROUP\u201d from\u00a0India along with Mr P D Virk Founder & President VOCS Events and Ms Rosy Ahluwalia, Fashion Designer promoting Khadi worldwide presented Khadi Fashion Preview Show as an \u201d Atma Nirbhar Bharat\u201d mission initiated\u00a0by our Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi Ji as a\u00a0\u2018Make in India\u2019\u00a0product and future textile to the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This Event also ensured that 200 years of British rule in India which had suppressed the use of Khadi, it was Mahatma Gandhi who took the initiative with the Charkha and Khadi weaving to unite people of India through Khadi and insisted that every Indian weaves Khadi,\u00a0 wears Khadi and educating in discouraging them to buy Manchester cotton, where Indians were forced to buy this textile whereas all the cotton was shipped from India to Manchester, woven in power loom and sent\u00a0 back to India and sold as Manchester cotton. Whereas, Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s Mission with Khadi was to keep the nation\u00a0united through Khadi. Our National Flag that was hoisted from Red Fort on the 15th august 1947 was made out of Khadi. So Khadi today is our Nation\u2019s Pride in our New India, also celebrating our 75th year of India Independence where Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister Modi Ji made a clarion call to all citizens\u00a0\u00a0\u201cHAR GHAR TIRANGA\u201d\u00a0on 15th August 2022. Our Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister call to all citizens of India to fly the Nation Flag in each and every home, offices, Schools and Institutes.<\/p>\n

Mr PD Virk in collaboration with Ms Rosy Ahluwalia were true patriots to celebrate the Pre \u2013 Diwali in London on 21 October 2022. With the Blessings of High Commissioner, His Excellency, Mr Vikram K Doraiswami and\u00a0 Director, The Nehru Centre, Mr Amish Tripathi and Mr Sanjay Sharma, Deputy Director\u00a0 the \u201cINDIAN KHADI PROMOTERS AND CULTURAL ARTISTS GROUP\u201d\u00a0 had a successful\u00a0 event at The Nehru Centre, London to release the Special Song Dedicated to India\u2019s Freedom and 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. This song is a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and many freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives during the freedom struggle and now under the leadership of our Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister Modi Ji, whose mission to celebrate the 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav worldwide.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It was historic day to release the special song dedicated to India\u2019s Freedom Struggle 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in London, UK and to celebrate Diwali which is India\u2019s New Year as\u00a0our New India that India always considered\u00a0the world as One Family \u201cVasudeva Kutumbakam\u201d.<\/p>\n

Chief Guest, Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Deputy Director & First Secretary, The Nehru Center, High Commission of India, London, Guest of Honour, Mr. Sunil Chopra, Mayor of Southwarth and Mr. Mohisder s Jadeja, Director Operations India.<\/p>\n

There was a good attendance. The program started with Ganesh Vandana followed with a short cultural program of Diwali and Grand Finale was by conducted by Ms. Rosy Ahluwalia, Fashion Designer, with a Khadi Fashion Preview Show which highlighted on Khadi sarees as an identity of Indian women and exhibited her other collections of Indian and Western style. She addressed the audience and highlighted on Khadi as an organic textile, very sustainable and a\u00a0\u2018Make in India\u2019\u00a0product, and\u00a0\u201cAtmanirbhar Bharat\u201d\u00a0mission. Our Indian Khadi is a textile with zero carbon emission and plays a very Positive role on Climate Change and prevents Global Warming.<\/p>\n

It was a successful event and the audience went back home understanding the importance of Khadi to unite each one of us,\u00a0to respect our weavers and handicraft artisans\u00a0to ensure they are looked up with dignity and honour. Khadi is our India\u2019s Nation Pride.<\/p>\n
